You're on the right track. Choosing form 1040 in the Company Information window gives you access to most of the forms which pertain to a 1040--which includes the Schedule F.
So where do you find the Schedule F? Go to the Chart of Accounts window, and edit an income or expense account....the Tax Line option there will let you assign the income or expense to a Schedule F tax line.
