I purchased the Farm Accounting Cookbook & have been setting my records up in Quickbooks Pro 2009 to find I do not have the farm schedule tax lines..where can I get them to update?

Thank you for the link Mark. It looks like there is another person with the same question.

The problem is that if your farm business files taxes as a partnership or corporation, and you select one of the corresponding tax forms (i.e., anything other than form 1040, I believe), you won't see the Schedule F or Schedule C categories in the Edit Account window.
So depending on how you want to do tax reporting for taking to your tax preparer, you may want to select form 1040 in the Company Info dialog, regardless of the IRS form on which your business' taxes are actually filed. It's just a personal choice.

Thank you so much. I just found this very information in your book - I love it!!! As for our tax reporting, we are an LLC & I do my own so I guess I will just need to select one or the other. Thanks again.
