Do you mean you want to learn how to create bills to send out to customers?

If you'll actually have several customers who owe you money at any one time, then study and use the Invoices feature of QuickBooks. Also study the Statements feature, if you'll be sending out monthly statements of how much they owe.

But if you don't want bother with customer accounts/invoices/statements, a simple way is just to use Pending Cash Sales...that is, use the Sales Receipt form--you can print it and send a copy to your customer--and mark it Pending until you receive payment, then mark it Final so it actually posts to QuickBooks. (Look up Pending Sales in the QuickBooks Help system.)
