How to copy ManagePLUS data to a new computer

(1) Install ManagePLUS on the new computer using the ManagePLUS installer (mpsetup.exe, which you can download here (http://www.goflagship.com/dnloads/mpdownld.htm)).

(2) Before starting ManagePLUS on the new computer, copy ManagePLUS data files and settings from the old computer to the new one.

You'll find them in the following example folder locations:

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Flagship Technologies\ManagePLUS\PgmData\

Vista & Windows 7:

c:\ProgramData\Flagship Technologies\ManagePLUS\PgmData\

Copy the entire contents of the PgmData folder including its subfolders from the old computer to, say, a flash (USB) drive or external hard drive that you'll be able to attach to the new compuer to transfer the data.

Copy the data and subfolders from the flash drive or external hard drive to PgmData on the new computer. (Part of the folder path won't yet exist on the new computer, so you'll have to create new folders until you have a folder path that mimics the appropriate one shown above.)

(3) Start ManagePLUS.

It may or may not ask to update your data files. If it asks, allow the update to occur.

If ManagePLUS starts without errors and your data is visible, the data transfer has been successful.

Note however, that your ManagePLUS license will not yet be registered on the new computer. You'll still need to enter your registration information in the usual way (choose Help > Register ManagePLUS from the main menu).
