Hello-
We are a dairy that milks own animals and makes cheese with the milk. What's best way to set up this 'company' in Quickbooks? We have used qbooks for 6 yrs and may have set up wrong!
==========
That's an awfully broad question; depends on what your business is like (for example, whether you retail the cheese, as I assume), what your accounting goals are, etc.
What, specifically, do you want to know? You probably don't have QuickBooks set up "wrong" unless it isn't providing information you think you need.
Do you have a copy of our book, The QuickBooks Farm Accounting Cookbook™? It talks a lot about setting up QuickBooks for a farm business.
