The FullSpeed Main Window

Main menu

The main menu gives you access to nearly all program commands.

Main toolbar

Buttons on the main toolbar give you quick access to program-wide commands, such as opening or saving a file. Each button is described in detail in the Toolbars topic.

To customize the main toolbar, right-click it.

Macro options toolbar

This toolbar gives you access to settings which control how macros run:  the target application, repeat type, keystroke delay, etc. These options are described in detail in the Toolbars topic.

Editing toolbar

This toolbar's buttons are used in editing a macro worksheet. They are described in detail in the Toolbars topic.

"Help bubble"

You will see "Help bubbles" throughout FullSpeed. Hover the mouse cursor over them to get detailed explanations of the adjacent button or option.

Macro worksheet area

You can define up to ten macros in a FullSpeed file, numbered 0..9. Each has its own worksheet, where you enter formulas to define calculations the macro will perform. Macro worksheets are similar to pages in other spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel:  columns are identified by letters (A, B, C...) and rows are identified by numbers (1, 2, 3...).

Worksheet tabs

These tabs give you access to the macro worksheets (described above), plus some other worksheets:

FullSpeed Spreadsheet Tabs

Macro tabs 0..9

Clicking on one of these tabs takes you to one of the macro worksheets.

Workspace

When a macro runs it uses the Workspace worksheet for doing calculations. So, it always holds the formulas and data from the most recent macro run. That makes it useful for (1) debugging your macro formulas, (2) verifying a macro's calculations, and (3) for technical support (when we ask for a copy of your macro file, to look for problems).

Changes to the Workspace worksheet do not cause a File has changed...Save the file? prompt to be displayed when you exit FullSpeed.

Notes

This worksheet is for your own use, such as for keeping notes on your calculations, copies of formulas, etc. Whatever is on this page is preserved when you save the FullSpeed file.

Defaults

This worksheet contains data FullSpeed uses when setting up a new macro worksheet (i.e., when you click the Setup button in the main toolbar or choose Macro > Set up this tab from the main menu.)

The Defaults tab is not editable.
