ManagePLUS is a management information and reporting add-on for QuickBooks. It enhances the information you can get from the QuickBooks records you already keep, giving you valuable management reports with only a little extra effort.

But ManagePLUS is more than just a reporting tool. It has powerful features that let you group transactions visually—just by dragging column headings around in the Transactions window and making a few mouse clicks—to get a customized analysis of sales and expenses tailored to your information needs. It builds reports in its own internal spreadsheet and lets you directly change numbers there, to do "what-if" analysis based on your live accounting data. ManagePLUS even supports expanded quantity information in QuickBooks transactions: you can associate two quantities with each line of a transaction, enter quantities as mathematical formulas that remain a permanent part of the transaction detail, and more.

ManagePLUS benefits a wide range of businesses types: manufacturing, farming and ranching, medical offices, professional services businesses, trucking/transportation/delivery, and many others—any business that wants more detailed management information, and especially any business that makes use of QuickBooks reference lists (classes, items, customers:jobs) in their transactions.

Completely New...Yet Built on a Solid Foundation

The current release of ManagePLUS is a completely rewritten version of the original ManagePLUS program, which was introduced in the mid 1990s. This release keeps the original program's basic design concepts and key features, but goes much further: we've modernized the technology greatly, made the ManagePLUS simpler and more automated wherever possible, and added new features—such as spreadsheet-based reports—that let ManagePLUS do more than ever before.

Maybe most important, the internal structure of ManagePLUS—the parts you don't see—have been completely redesigned to better support continued development: the addition of new features and capabilities for ManagePLUS as time progresses.
